en somme
SNCASO SO-M1
in the late 40's our military wanted a new bomber model.
The National Society of Aircraft Construction in the South West (SNCASO, then S.O. , "aerospatiale". Today: EADS / Airbus), it was built a glider and motorized "model" for the study of the S.O. 4000
A "model" with pilot:
attached to the back of another airplane by matt , he was taken to altitude for testing.
The SO 4000 did not exceed the prototype stage but his descendant, the "Vautour" flew over a long career (1956- 1978 in Air Force).
The last was used almost the 21st century in the flight test center where he served for testing new radars and missiles.
My cartoon version is perhaps less serious than his "job".

PZL P11
PZL, Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze that mean, Polish company for almost a century it manufactures aircraft, including gliders under the name SZD. I once flew on the SZD50 Puchacz.
(the owl was the symbol of the squadron 113)
